Plane tickets were huge, obviously, but we do have a ton of other miscellaneous items to buy. Here is the running list:
1.) Rail passes: Most likely, we'll end up purchasing one pass for Britain/Scotland and another for the rest of Europe.
2.) Camera: I've been doing a bit of research on this recently. I want a camera that is a step up from most digitals without it being bulky or heavy. Along with this goes a strap for it, as well as a hard case and a memory card(s). I like this one from Best buy.
3.) Money belt
4.) Shoulder bag- a purse but more travel friendly I guess.
Other things already purchased:
1.) Hosteling International membership
2.) Couchsurfing membership (well not purchased, but donated.)
3.) Backpacks
I'm sure we'll be adding to this list in the near future.
